A Jacksonville-based grocery holding company is preparing to close 22 stores in the south by the end of March, including in Orlando.
Southeastern Grocers Inc., parent company of Winn-Dixie Stores Inc., will close two locations in the Orlando area following its filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection spring. The stores, which will close by March 25 in Central Florida, are the locations at 7840 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy. in Kissimmee and at 5732 N. Hiawassee Road in Orlando.
