Anchor Investments has made its first acquisition in the Charlotte market. The Nashville-based real estate investment company has acquired Dixie Village Shopping Center for nearly $6.73 million.

The Gilbert Town Council is set to vote Tuesday on the controversial The Ranch project proposed on the southwest corner of Elliot and Power roads. The developer is asking for a two month delay to revamp the project.

A developer’s $12 million plan to renovate two mostly vacant historic buildings on Laclede’s Landing into 33 apartments could receive tax incentives.

The city is raising the “buy-in” fee for developers who want to skip adding affordable units in new apartment buildings.

The proposed development is located on a 33-acre property at 7300 Granbury Road in southwest Fort Worth.

The new craft beer spot will feature brewing space, a taproom and food offerings.

The town center has already been developed with a Lidl, Starbucks and apartments.
