The 2022 Austin Business Journal list of custom homebuilders highlights local builders creating unique residences according for their clients. Builders will either have select lots to choose from or will build on property owned by the client. Prices often exceed the million dollar mark. The listmakers this year built 417 custom homes during 2021 for combined sales of $527 million. Last year, listmakers reported building 430 homes in 2020 with combined sales of $485 million.
