The 2023 Austin Business Journal list of custom homebuilders highlights local builders creating unique residences according for their clients. Builders will either have select lots to choose from or will build on property owned by the client. Prices often exceed the million dollar mark. The listmakers this year sold 341 custom homes during 2022 for combined sales of $520 million. Last year, listmakers reported selling 417 homes in 2021 with combined sales of $527 million.
