Honolulu chef Jon Matsubara opened his own 2,000-square-foot, fast-casual restaurant, Feast, in Manoa earlier this week.
Matsubara, who has worked in a number of well-known local restaurants over the years — including Azure, Stage and, most recently, Merriman’s Honolulu — told Pacific Business News that he has been wanting to open his own establishment for nearly a decade.
