Kasier’s Dr. Gloria Coronado aims to improve cancer screening among Latinos


Dr. Gloria Coronado began her research career at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, where she helped build a health disparities program "from the ground up." That involved working with farm worker communities in eastern Washington.

"My dad had been a farm worker. He was an immigrant from Mexico," Coronado said. "So it was a real opportunity to apply science to serve community."
