KVC Hospitals changes its name after more than 30 years


KVC Hospitals, a nonprofit juvenile psychiatric health provider with local operations, is changing its name after more than 30 years.

The nonprofit, which has locations in Kansas City, Wichita and Hays, will become Camber Children's Mental Health. It has children's mental health hospitals and residential treatment centers for kids and teens.

Because suicide rates and other mental health conditions are rising among youth populations, Camber wanted to change its name to better distinguish its identity…
