Maryland’s second-highest court upholds sanctions against ‘Money Guys’


Philip Rousseaux and his Towson investment firms will remain barred from doing business in Maryland after sanctions imposed by the state's securities regulator were upheld by the Court of Special Appeals.

The Maryland securities commissioner acted within her authority when she issued an order two years ago revoking Rousseaux's investment adviser representative registration and fining him and his companies $255,000, according to the Oct. 31 court opinion.
