Mayo Clinic said Tuesday its second-quarter net income more than doubled over the previous year, as an increase in medical service revenue was paired with better-performing investments.
The Rochester-based health-systems giant said income rose 172 percent to $493 million for the quarter ended June 30, up from $181 million in the same period a year ago.
