McDonald’s promoting fresh-beef burgers with ‘speechless’ celebrities


McDonald’s is rolling out a new ad campaign that trades on the well-worn aphorism “a picture is worth a thousand words.” Whether viewers buy into that theory or not will no doubt color their reaction to the burger behemoth’s celebrity-studded television commercials touting the new fresh-beef version of the Quarter Pounder being distributed nationwide.

The introduction of a fresh-beef burger at McDonald’s, of course, represents a massive change in the way the company has done burgers…
