The 2022 list of the top mortgage producers in the Austin area ranks the area's most active residential loan officers according to their home loan production in 2021. The list includes loans for local properties as well as nonlocal. All loans must be originated and closed under the agent's NMLS ID number. This year tracking 2021, combined production of loans for the top 50 listmakers reached $5.56 billion for 13,103 loans closed. Last year tracking 2020, the top 50 listmakers closed 14,985 loans totaling $5.3 billion, All loan officers listed operate from the Austin area and provided verification of loans made. Some loan officers have licensed assistants that help process paperwork and communicate with clients. Only retail home loans and refinancings are tracked. Repurchase, home equity, cash-outs, second liens and wholesale loans not included. The Austin coverage area includes Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop, Caldwell and Burnet counties.
