My View: Why Arizona politicians need to step up to fix housing affordability


In this guest column, a former Arizona developer and planning commissioner argues that state and municipal politicians are not doing enough to push through mechanisms that would encourage more affordable housing that could, in turn, help alleviate some of the homelessness in the area. Having so many neighborhood NIMBYs opposed to multifamily housing doesn't help, he says.
