Birmingham’s newest distillery is gearing up to open its doors for business.
Dread River Distilling Co. LLC plans to open a 24,500-square-foot distillery, tasting room and event space at 2400 Seventh Ave. S. this summer, according to the Birmingham Business Alliance.
One of Birmingham’s largest general contractors, Rives Construction Co. Inc., is the general contractor for the project.
