New York real estate brokerage firm Douglas Elliman announced Aug. 20 that it will make its first foray into Texas through a joint venture with Houston-based real estate sales and marketing firm Sudhoff Cos.
While neither company described the deal as an acquisition, Scott Durkin, president and COO of Douglas Elliman, told the Houston Business Journal that Sudhoff Cos. will operate under the Douglas Elliman flag.
