After nearly 11 months in a renovated space, Groundstone closed Sunday.
A staff member confirmed to Business First by phone on Monday that the restaurant's last day was Sunday, without providing further details. Groundstone was located at 5001 San Mateo Blvd. NE and served pizza, burgers and beer.
The restaurant's owner, Russ Zeigler, told us last year that Groundstone was the sixth restaurant he owned, according to previous Business First reporting.
