OHA is making progress in detecting improper Medicaid payments, new audit finds


The Oregon Health Authority has made progress in better detecting and preventing improper Medicaid payments, but it still has some work to do, concludes a followup audit from acting Secretary of State Leslie Cummings.

A previous audit, released in November 2017, identified eight areas where the agency should make corrections. OHA agreed with the recommendations and has implemented two so far, while making progress on the remaining six, according to the new audit.
