Oregon is facing an unparalleled housing crisis. Today, at least 17,900 people are experiencing homelessness in Oregon. It's an emergency that cuts through every community in our state.
I commend Gov. Tina Kotek for setting 36,000 new homes per year as a goal. Imagine the multitude of benefits gained by housing Oregonians who need housing.
