When David and Jill Brown moved to the Seattle area from South Africa six years ago, it was because of an opportunity from Amazon.
“We thought, let’s go pursue the American dream,” Jill said.
David is a vice president for Amazon Web Services Inc. They bought a house in Redmond. But then, about two years ago they noticed a sign for Sammamish Ridge Estates, drove in and stood on a lot they thought was ideal for them.
“This would be where we wanted to build our dream house,” she said.…
