Platte County faces new fallout from the Zona Rosa shopping center bonds, the subject of a lawsuit to resolve which party must pay for shortfalls.
Due to Platte County's failure to make a payment on the Zona Rosa bonds, Moody's on Thursday downgraded unrelated bonds that included the county's Neighborhood Improvement District bonds and the Special Obligation Refunding and Improvement Building bonds.
