Revolution Dance Theatre elevates Black performers to center stage


David Anthony Choate Jr., founder of Revolution Dance Theatre, has big dreams.

“My vision for Revolution is we're going to change what you think ballet can be, what ballet can do, what a ballet company can do,” said Choate. “What we're also going to do in a really robust way is create these artists that are so talented and who know that they deserve to be in spaces like the Aronoff Center or Music Hall, and that they deserve to be paid.”
