Shepherd Center expansion to help solve ‘inexcusable’ waits at hospital, co-founder says (Podcast)


If you’re going to be truly successful, you’re going to have to believe in your mission. Anything less “just doesn't do it,” said Alana Shepherd, co-founder and chairman of Shepherd Center.

The Atlanta-based rehabilitation hospital has treated more than 35,000 patients with brain and spinal cord injuries, and other neurological conditions. It's undergoing a major expansion, including a new apartment tower and research and innovation hub, to accomodate the demand for the center.
