A Beaverton group that provides skilled rehabilitative and intermediate care could benefit greatly from a local couple's generosity.
The donors, Elsie Franz Finley and the late Robert W. Franz, gave $1 million to Maryville after a friend of Elsie's received care at the facility. The donation is the largest individual gift in Maryville's history and the second-largest individual gift to the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon and their sponsored ministries in the group's 132-year history.
