St. Elizabeth seeks to prevent sports injuries via data analysis


St. Elizabeth Healthcare and the physician group OrthoCincy Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine have teamed up in an effort to prevent injuries to student athletes by compiling and analyzing data at 23 high schools.

The Orthopaedic Institute at St. Elizabeth, a partnership between the St. E hospital system and OrthoCincy, said injuries sustained by student athletes can be broken down by school, team, sport and gender.
