Two current employees of St. Louis County's Department of Public Health have been named its acting co-directors with the impending exit of the county's controversial acting health chief.
County Executive Dr. Sam Page on Thursday appointed Kate Donaldson and Dr. Jim Hinrichs as acting co-directors of the Department of Public Health. Donaldson currently is deputy director of the health department, and Hinrichs is an infectious disease specialist with the department.
