Starrett City, East New York’s sprawling 46-building housing complex, has officially been sold for $905 million.
Earlier this year, a state Supreme Court decision allowed the sale to take place, despite some objection of the property's shareholders. The decision cleared the path for a pair of deep-pocketed real estate investors — Brooksville Company and Rockpoint Group — to wrap up the deal.
