Start planning now for 2025 tax changes, Grant Thornton leader says


It’s never too early to start planning for the future when it comes to taxes.

Doreen Griffith, a tax partner at Grant Thornton LLP and the firm’s Dallas office managing partner, does not expect any sweeping changes to tax laws this year or next year. However, she told the Dallas Business Journal in a recent interview that companies should start preparing for 2025, when many of the provisions of the Trump-era Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 begin to sunset.
