Akron-based Swensons Drive-In will open its first Central Ohio location at 7490 Sawmill Road near Dublin on Nov. 9. The highly anticipated arrival has been in the works for almost a year.
The burger shop — which uses car hops who take orders and deliver to cars rather than having inside seating — is on the site of a former FirstMerit Corp. bank. That building was demolished this summer to make way for a new 1,700-square-foot operation with around 70 parking spots.…
