Tampa could legalize accessory dwelling units in more neighborhoods


Granny cottages. Tiny homes. Garage apartments.

Regardless of what you call an accessory dwelling unit, Tampa is looking to the small structures to help solve the city’s housing crisis. Tampa City Council on June 23 will hear a presentation from city staff on allowing leasable ADUs in more neighborhoods across the city.
