The Next Chapter: Being the place


We recently rolled up our 8×10 brightly colored rug that the boys sat on for countless hours and played trucks and dinosaurs and Legos. Family photos and playroom rules were stripped from the walls. Countless bins of small toys were boxed, and while some were saved, most were donated.

I’ve know the plan for my basement from the first day we moved into this house. I knew I wanted it to be their space. A space where all kids felt comfortable and a place they all wanted to be.
