There’s a statistic currently floating around the internet that states that 75% of the time we spend with our kids in a lifetime will be complete by age 12. And by the time they turn 18, well, 90% of your parent-child time together is already spent.
I keep turning these two statistics over and over in my mind and I admit I am fascinated. I reflect on the time I spend with my own parents. I reflect on the decision I made to leave my hometown at 18, live 500 miles away, and never return.
