Tip credit may have support on St. Paul City Council as part of minimum wage ordinance


As St. Paul considers steps to raise the city's minimum wage, an industry group says it's won backing from more than half the council for a so-called "tip credit" that would exempt many bars and restaurants from the rule. But things may not be that simple.
