A little more than a year after Troy Guard opened Grange Hall, the famed local restaurateur has sold the Greenwood Village food hall to a huge, publicly traded adult nightclub operator.
Houston-based RCI Hospitality Holdings (Nasdaq: RICK) purchased the business and real estate at 6575 Greenwood Plaza Blvd. for $5.2 million on Dec. 19, according to Arapahoe County property records. RCI Holdings owns 26 gentlemen’s club and restaurant brands around the country, including several in Denver, like La Boheme Gentlemen’s Cabaret and Diamond Cabaret.
RCI is focusing on Colorado, having recently bought property in Aurora for an outlet of Bombshells, its military-themed restaurant chain (with all of its locations currently in Texas) and another in Central City for Rick’s Cabaret Steakhouse & Casino.
Grange Hall, which opened in Sept. 2021, currently has eight food stalls: The Crack Shack, Menya Ramen, Seoul Mandoo, Sushi Mune, Little Chingones, Champagne & Charcuterie, Tilford’s Wood Fired Pizza and Uptown & Humboldt, plus microbrewery Little Dry Creek Brewing.

Guard’s TAG Restaurant Group, which owns restaurants like Los Chingones and Guard & Grace, took over the former 13,000-square-foot C.B. & Potts brewpub space in 2019, completely renovated it and then waited out the pandemic before opening.
“We created Grange Food Hall to fill what we felt was a gap in the food hall offerings in the Denver area,” Guard said in a statement. “I think my TAG Restaurant Group team and partners at KKT Management have built an incredible brand and reputation, and created the gathering space I always envisioned.
“That’s why it was no surprise when the Rick’s team approached us with an offer we couldn’t refuse,” he added.
RCI Hospitality Holdings’ plan is to add a mini Bombshells kitchen, featuring wings and salads and appetizers, according to a press release. The company plans to use the Little Dry Creek brewery to create its own, signature craft beers for sale in other RCI locations.
