UNC economist sees mixed picture for North Carolina in 2023; Charlotte, Raleigh should fare better than peers


Charlotte’s reliance on banking and finance and Raleigh’s tech-friendly economy are likely to grow at a slower pace as the possibility increases for at least a mild recession in 2023, according to the chief economist at the Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise.
