While overall Affordable Care Act signups were down overall both in Pennsylvania and nationwide, at least one insurer is bucking the trend: UPMC Health Plan saw an increase this enrollment period.
The signup period ended Dec. 15 on healthcare.gov saw 4 percent growth in individual enrollments at UPMC Health Plan, according to a UPMC Health Plan spokeswoman. That compares to a slight drop at other insurers and also overall in the state, as reported by the Pennsylvania Department of Insurance.
