According to Rep. Ro Khanna, bank executives should not be on the board of the Federal Reserve or its 12 regional banks, and if executives at failed banks should have their compensation clawed back.
Khanna, a Democratic lawmaker from San Jose who represents part of Silicon Valley in Congress, made those remarks Sunday to Margaret Brennan on CBS News' Face the Nation as they discussed the weekend's sale of Republic National Bank as well as what happened at Silicon Valley Bank, which failed in March.
