J. Myers Jones III may be Middle Tennessee's newest bank chief, but he isn't new to the market.
On Friday, Franklin Synergy Bank named Jones, the bank's chief credit officer, its interim CEO, following longtime CEO and co-founder Richard Herrington's immediate retirement. Now, as the bank's board searches for Herrington's permanent replacement, Jones is tasked to steady the ship in the wake of Herrington's sudden departure.
