Recent data by two health care startups, GoodRx and Medbelle, show Birmingham and Alabama’s drug pricing and hospitals rating in comparison to the rest of the county.
Medbelle, a London-based end-to-end platform for medical procedures, identified the top hospital cities for 2019. According to the data, Birmingham placed 27, beating out other Southeastern cities such as Raleigh and New Orleans. The top hospital cities, according to Medbelle’s metrics, are Boston, Los Angeles and New York City.
