The cost of sitting down to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal this year is slightly less this year, thanks in part to declining turkey prices.
The American Farm Bureau Federation released its 38th annual survey Wednesday that estimates the average cost of the classic holiday meal for 10. This year's price tag is $61.17 or less than $6.20 per person — a 4.5% decrease from last year’s record-high average of $64.05.
