The TMUD tax credits help make huge, mixed-use developments possible, said one of the people behind the incentive. "Often in Ohio, the project cost exceeds the value, so developers have to bridge that financial gap. And the more time it takes to close that financial gap, the wider it could get because the project can get more expensive."
