12 classic Oregon hikes to take this fall (Photos)


I can’t say that I got to write a lot about hiking during my time with the Portland Business Journal, which spanned from late 2014 till 2019. During those years, it was mostly commercial real estate. (Though I did somehow manage to sneak in a Mt. Adams climb one time.)

But when the old crew reached out and asked for a look at some of my favorite fall hikes, I couldn’t pass it up. Some took me down memory lane, others I can still feel in my quads and calves.
