3 First Coast restaurants temporarily shut down for live roaches, rodent droppings


Three First Coast restaurants were temporarily shut down last week after inspectors found live roaches on the walls and fresh rodent droppings on site.

Trio Hookah Lounge at 8725 Old Kings Rd. was temporarily shut down on Feb. 4 after inspectors found five live roaches on the walls, issued a stop sale on food due to temperature abuse, advertising grouper but only having swai on site, no proof of managers or employee training and 12 basic violations. It reopened on Feb. 5 after three more inspections.…
