Ours is a community that is not obsessed with growth — not like, say, those Texans.
New Mexico seems to prize balance above all things — enough time with work, family, nature and spirit. It's one of the reasons we have an outstanding quality of life in many ways.
However, our state does need economic growth, no question, and I enjoy reading about folks in our community who have achieved growth or whose missions are to help others grow.
