$47M renovation planned for Downtown Doubletree, will become four-star hotel


Investors are planning to redevelop Downtown's DoubleTree by Hilton hotel.

Ohio-based Continental Hospitality Group and Memphis-based Wright Investments are applying for a 15-year PILOT (payment-in-lieu-of-taxes) for the project from the Downtown Memphis Commission's (DMC) Center City Revenue Finance Corp. The hotel is located at 185 Union Ave.
