Holy Hannikainen, Columbus, it's hockey season again. The Blue Jackets played their first game of the 2018-2019 NHL season in Detroit last night.

So, hold onto your Nutivaaras, my friends, for tonight, the CBJ play their home opener.

I could not be more excited. Although I mourn the end of summer and curse the coming winter, I look forward to hockey season like an accountant looks forward to tax time.
