A West Side BBQ restaurant from a former P&Ger who left the company to pursue his love of smoked meats full time is closing after eight years in the business.
Woots BBQ & Catering at 5826 Cheviot Road in White Oak announced on Facebook that Oct. 13 was its last dinner service. Owner Anthony Wooten did not respond to a request for comment as of this posting.
In a Facebook post, Wooten said he is retiring to spend more time with his grandchild and family.
