San Antonio retail absorption positive in first quarter


Positive absorption and leasing numbers headlined a strong first quarter for the San Antonio retail space market, despite vacancy rising by 20 basis points during the first quarter.

Retail vacancy ended the first quarter at 5.1%, according to the latest quarterly report by NAI Partners, which is up from 4.9% in fourth quarter 2018 and up from 4.3% in first quarter 2018.
