Restaurateur Kevin Aoki has opened a second Bluetree Cafe in a 1,000-square-foot space at The Collection in Kakaako.
“It’s so satisfying — I’m really happy it’s open. It’s been a journey,” said Aoki, explaining that the buildout took about a year.
“We wanted to make sure that it’s in the right location and done with the right people. I thought (The Collection) would be a really good location to have a presence,” he added.
