AdventHealth soon will go vertical on an expansion in Volusia County.
The $3.36 billion Altamonte Springs-based health care system just had its final concrete pour on Nov. 4 for the foundation for AdventHealth Fish Memorial Hospital's new $100 million patient tower in Orange City. The four-story expansion, expected to be completed by the end of 2020, will add 50 beds to the 175-bed hospital. That will bring its total bed count to 225, including a 20-bed labor and delivery unit.
