U.S. mortgage rates swing back down


After rising for three straight weeks, U.S. mortgage rates have reversed course, according to Freddie Mac.

The 30-year fixed mortgage averaged 3.69 percent for the week ending Nov. 7 — a decline from 3.78 percent last week. A year ago, mortgage rates stood at 4.94 percent.
