‘The metrics are certainly changing’: What a tightening VC market means for St. Louis startups


Venture investment into U.S. startups dipped to $70.7 billion in the first quarter, compared with $95.4 billion the prior quarter. Locally, startups and venture capitalists say investment continues to be available for companies, but the metrics required to snag it are becoming stricter.
